Cookie Policy

What cookies and similar technologies vivid-fundy.com uses, why, and exactly how to control or withdraw your consent at any time.

Full control, any time Only 2 optional categories Last updated 1 June 2026

Last updated: 1 June 2026 · This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Alongside cookies, we also use similar local-storage technologies built into your browser (such as localStorage) to remember information between visits, for example the contents of your shopping cart or your saved cookie preferences. Throughout this policy, "cookies" refers to both traditional cookies and these equivalent local-storage technologies.

2. The categories of cookies we use

We group cookies into three categories, matching the choices available in our cookie settings panel (accessible any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in our footer):

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to function at all: remembering the contents of your cart, keeping the mobile menu and search working, and remembering your cookie choice itself. These cannot be switched off, because the site would not work correctly without them.
  • Analytics — help us understand, in aggregate, which books, articles and pages are most useful, how people move through the shop and quiz, and where visitors run into problems, so we can improve the site. Only active if you opt in.
  • Marketing — used to show more relevant messages, such as a reminder about the free budget checklist if you didn't finish downloading it, or to measure whether our content led to a visit. Only active if you opt in.

Note: this demonstration build of the site does not currently load any live third-party analytics or advertising scripts — the table above documents the categories and naming convention that would apply once such tools are connected, so our published policy stays accurate as the site evolves.

4. Third-party cookies

Where we embed third-party content — such as the map in our footer — that provider may set its own cookies in line with its own policy, over which we have no direct control. We only embed services from providers we consider reputable and relevant to your experience of the site.

5. How to manage your preferences

You can also reject all non-essential cookies directly from the cookie banner shown on your first visit, or clear cookies at any time using your browser settings described below — this will reset your preference and show the banner again on your next visit.

6. Controlling cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you view, delete or block cookies through their settings menu. Because the process varies by browser, we recommend checking your browser's help documentation (for example, searching "manage cookies" within Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge settings). Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site, such as the cart, from working correctly.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes, for example if we connect a live analytics or advertising tool in future. Material changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page.
